Season 6 of Game of Thrones premiered last night and Northern Illinois University is offering an honors class on “Game of Thrones” called “Game of Thrones, Television and Medieval History.” Students will watch episodes and then write papers on how the show relates to modern technology, history and current events.
In all fairness, with shows like these that are so engrossing and in depth, there probably are a lot of references and insight into the thought behind the show and how it parallels the modern age. Either way, watching TV in class is always preferred!!!!
