Luxurious Underground Apocalypse Bunker For Sale For 17.5 Million

Georgia bunker house
Harry Norman Realty is listing this Georgia home, which can withstand a nuclear blast

I watch THE WALKING DEAD every Sunday night on AMC. That show, minus the Zombies, does make you wonder what you would do if the world wasn’t functioning properly. Most of us wouldn’t think of building an underground shelter of this size and nature, but if I had the money, I would love to own it!

This luxurious Georgia bunker is 45 feet underground, houses about 20 people and can withstand a nuclear blast up 20,000 tons. It’s a very appropriate address at 123 Private Drive. The underground bunker in Tifton, Georgia, approximately three hours southeast of Atlanta, is “the only hardened and privately owned underground bunker in the United States today.” It covers 5 acres underground on a property of 45 total acres. The bunker boasts seven luxury apartments that sleep a total of 13, fully working and secure Internet and a common area with a 15-seat movie theater. It was originally built in 1969 and fully brought up to government standards in 2012. Also found on the premises are decontamination showers and an outdoor firing range.
