Steve Bergstrom is a marathon runner, from Chicago, who has competed in over 25 marathons including four ultra-marathons and two Iron Man challenges. He entered the Chicago Marathon, this year, as a single guy on a mission to find love … or at least a date.

Bergstrom ran the race with his name, relationship status and the message “like on Facebook” written on his back. As you can imagine, Steve quickly became a very popular guy and fielded a lot of messages for dates after the race was over. He also bagged a date with a fellow marathoner and spectator who was holding this sign.

Steve is hoping that his actions will inspire others to be a bit more creative in the future when it comes to romance.
