SportClips in Bloomington, IL is pairing up with C.I. Shooting Sports to hold a benefit for our veterans on November 6, 2015. In 2014, SportClips raised more than $712,000 for our program. To date, Sport Clips has given more than $1.2 Million in scholarship assistance to deserving service members and veterans. We want to break that record this year, and raise even more money for the veterans in which are serving and have served our country.
We offer three different packages for the event. If you can’t make it to the main event that Friday night you can stop in November 1st to November 7th and mention Help a Hero and receive the following…lane rental, 9mm gun rental, 50 rounds of 9mm ammo, a target, and donation to Help a Hero for $35. All range rules apply pertaining to FOID card with this package.
For the main event November 6th there are two different packages that we are offering. Help a Hero supporter option which covers admission into the event to mingle, take part in the silent auction raffle, and eat and drink for $25. The other option is Help a Hero main event ticket for $65 that covers admission, silent auction raffle, food and drinks, lane rental, 9mm rental, 50 rounds of 9 mm ammo, target, also you will receive a complimentary MVP haircut certificate from SportClips. You do not have to have a FOID card to participate in the main event, there will be instructors that will be there to assist if you choose to use one.
Prizes for the silent auction for the main event include prizes from Edible Arrangements, Pheasant Lanes, Eastland Suites, Cookies by Design, S & S Paint and Body, Outback, Bloomington Thunder Hockey team, and many more.
We are also doing a raffle for a Mossberg 500 shotgun 12ga 28″ ported barrel wood stock for $10 that you can stop in to SportClips to purchase. You do not have to attend the event to win this prize but you do have to have a valid FOID card.
