Tonight is the first NLDS game between the Cubs and the Cardinals! It’s an early game in St. Louis, 5:45pm CT. Now, who will you be rooting for? Here in Bloomington-Normal, it literally could be either one. Let’s break it down by the numbers, shall we??

First, let’s look at McLean County…

Nothing strange here, Cubs have an 11% lead on fans over the Cardinals, which isn’t that far apart in all reality.

How about Normal?

Closing the gap, Cubs still over-power Cardinal’s fans in the area, but not by much at all!

How about Bloomington?

Noticing a pattern? Me too.

Here’s where things get weird.
