So, I’ve been looking for fun things to do in Blono since I moved down here (4 months ago). I CAN’T BELIEVE IT’S BEEN FOUR MONTHS. Anyway, when Laura Ewan told me to check out trivia night, I was nervous.
I’m not smart! How would I be able to compete with all of these smart people who probably work at fancy insurance companies.

I have never seen Joe’s Pub so packed with people. They all obviously know their stuff and want to win this.
After Laura invited herself to sit with a couple dudes sitting at a table, our obvious team name had to be “Table-Jackers”. So all 7 of us crowded around the raised circular table in an attempt to absolutely crush everyone in the always entertaining game of useless trivia.
I found where all the people my age hang out in Blono. It’s trivia night. Most of the places I have hung out at in the Twin Cities have been crawling with college kids, but Joe’s was graced with a new variety of people I could actually talk to! 20-somethings everywhere!
Starting off, we were very confused about “Back 2 The Future” trivia. No, I don’t remember what movie they were talking about… Oh wait. I guessed right?!? We were off to a good start!
Next up, the only reason Laura was so excited for this trivia night. Disney trivia was absolutely annihilated by the Table-Jackers. One after the other, just owning every other team in the bar. We crushed that round.
Then there were just a bunch of random questions about thyroid glands, presidents, and flame-throwers. The final round was close, but the Table-Jackers were able to pull through and get the win!
BUT WAIT! It turns out we were disqualified because an official team can only have 6 players. WE STILL WON AND WE DONT EVEN CARE.
We’re going back tonight….
