“Shall We Dance on Ice”
is coming back to U.S. Cellular Coliseum on December 12, 2015

The cast features the most decorated ice dancing team in U.S. figure skating history, 2014 Olympic Champions, two-time World Champions and six-time U.S. Champions Meryl Davis and Charlie White. After the Olympics, Davis and White competed in the eighteenth season of ABC’s Dancing with the Stars, where Meryl and her partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy were crowned the season champions!

The show will be hosted by 1992 Olympic gold medalist and Dancing with the Stars former champion Kristi Yamaguchi, along with Maks. Plus, this evening will be televised on ABC TV in 2016!

JUST ANNOUNCED—The four pro dancers who will join Maks, Charlie and Meryl on stage are:

  • Dmitry Chaplin is a Russian-born dancer, actor, choreographer, and teacher. Chaplin began ballroom dancing at the age of 12 and has won many national and international titles whilst representing the United States.  He has appeared as a star professional on ABC’s Dancing with the Stars and as a competitor and Emmy®-nominated choreographer on Fox’s So You Think You Can Dance.
  • Chelsie Hightoweri s a multi-talented American dancer, teacherand Emmy®-nominated choreographer. She was a professional dance partner and choreographer on Dancing with the Stars for seven seasons, competed on season four of So You Think You Can Dance, and was selected as one of ten So You Think You Can Dance all-stars in season 10.  
  • Anna Trebunskaya made her Dancing with the Stars debut during the show’s second season, partnering with NFL legend Jerry Rice and placing 2nd on the hit competition show.  Trebunskaya is an entrepreneur and owns the You Can Dance ballroom studio in Hermosa Beach, CA with her mother Irina.
  • Damian Whitewood was born and raised in Perth, Western Australia. Whitewood has appeared on ABC’s top rated show Dancing with the Stars with Pamela Anderson, and has also made guest appearances on Dancing with the Stars in Israel, Argentina and Mexico, along with So You Think You Can Dance in Australia and Holland.

These dancers join the previously announced seven other top ice dancing couples.

  • 2006 Olympic silver medalists, two-time World silver medalists, five-time U.S. Champions and 2010 U.S. Olympic team members Tanith Belbin & Ben Agosto.
  • 2009 European Champion Bronze Medalists, seven-time British Champions, and 2010 British Olympic team members Sinead & John Kerr.
  • Five-time U.S. Champions Naomi Lang & Peter Tchernyshev.
  • 2014 European Champion Bronze Medalists and three-time British Champions Penny Coomes & Nick Buckland.
  • Three-time Canadian Bronze Medalists Alexandra Paul & Mitchell Islam.
  • Two-time U.S. Bronze Medalists Kim Navarro & Brent Bommentre.
  • New team skating for Israel
    • Isabella Tobias: placed in top 10 in 2 European Championships, 2014 Lithuanian Olympic team member.
    • IIya Tkachenko: Russian National Medalist (One-time Silver, Two-time Bronze)
