GREAT NEWS!

100% of profits from the original sale of these TY beanies will go to WildCRU, the Wildlife Conservation Research Unit of University of Oxford in Oxford England, which is the group that had placed a GPS tracker on the neck of Cecil, and had been following the lion’s movements for years. Bravo!

Aaron Blaise, a former Disney animator who worked on great films like Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast and The Lion King, has created a beautiful digital image to pay homage to Cecil the lion. He is NOT profiting from his artwork and is encouraging others to donate to WildCRU.

Check out this time-lapse video detailing its creation.

Blaise wrote on his website: “When I heard the news about Cecil, I got inspired to create a tribute image.”

Well done sir! (reaching for a tissue now)
