On Tuesday night, Jimmy Kimmel emotionally dedicated his monologue to Cecil the lion.

Yesterday it was revealed that Walter James Palmer, a dentist from Minnesota, was the hunter who shot and killed the lion after luring him out of Hwange National Park.

“The big question is, why are you shooting a lion in the first place?” the talkshow host asked. “I mean, I am honestly curious to know why a human being would feel compelled to do that – how is that fun?”
