Sharin’ of the Green Parade
Uptown Normal
Saturday, March 15th
1:00pm
Cumulus Radio WBNQ Bloomington is excited to bring “The Sharin’ of the Green Parade” back for the 13th year to Uptown Normal! This is a great opportunity for our community to come together celebrate all things Irish and more!
We encourage you to share your “green” with BRIGHTPOINT (Formerly Children’s Home and Aid) by donating cash and coins during the parade when you see the big IRISH flag.
Brightpoint has been a resource for families for over 130 years. The agency offers a comprehensive array of services and programs, annually serving the needs of more than 3,000 local children and families in McLean County and the surrounding area.
To Reserve Your Spot in the Parade Line-Up or to Volunteer Click Here .
There is a small entry fee for parade entries, with non political entries only $25! (Don’t forget to sign the waiver!)
Volunteers will sell t-shirts, line up participants, carry the flag, collect donations, throw candy, assist with crowd control, or other tasks as needed.
This is a rain or shine event-there is no alternate date.
Look for Susan Saunders in the circle giving you the parade “play by play”, and if you want to send her details in advance about your group, email them to [email protected]
