Chick-Fil-A Opens 1st ‘Elevated Drive-Thru’ Restaurant In Georgia
This is really really smart, but are you ready to say good bye to the dine in option?
Chick-fil-A has opened a new location unlike any other – with an ‘elevated drive-thru’. The restaurant has a large drive-thru at the ground floor, and a much a larger kitchen on the second floor. Completed meals are lowered down to the customers and servers below using conveyor belt, then delivered to the drivers below.
The fast food chain says the new design will increase speed and allow them to serve a customer every six seconds. That’s two to three times their normal output.
The first prototype model opened last week in McDonough, Georgia on August 22nd.
I expect more restaurants to replicate many of these fabulous ideas!
