Beyonce unveiled a full trailer Sunday evening for a forthcoming concert film based on her blockbuster 2023 Renaissance World Tour.

“RENAISSANCE: A FILM BY BEYONCÉ accentuates the journey of RENAISSANCE WORLD TOUR, from its inception, to the opening in Stockholm, Sweden, to the finale in Kansas City, Missouri. It is about Beyoncé’s intention, hard work, involvement in every aspect of the production, her creative mind and purpose to create her legacy, and master her craft. Received with extraordinary acclaim, Beyoncé’s RENAISSANCE WORLD TOUR created a sanctuary for freedom, and shared joy, for more than 2.7 million fans.”
Beyonce has opened ticket pre-sales at theater chains including AMC, Regal and Cinemark.
Insiders said the film will include highlights from the full 2023 run of the Renaissance World Tour, and the long-awaited videos shot for the visual album “Renaissance”, plus a docu-style account of recording the album and conceiving the tour. Taylor Swift’s concert film coming out October 13th, and was self-financed so Taylor will see well over 50% of box office grosses in the arrangement. Beyonce will get the same deal, said Variety’s sources.
“Renaissance: A Film by Beyonce” will hit U.S. theaters on December 1.
