Sam Asghari & Britney Spears have broken up after 14 months of marriage
Sam Asghari has officially filed to divorce Britney Spears.
TMZ states that he cited “irreconcilable differences” in the filing. The outlet says that Sam is asking for spousal support and attorneys fees. They also add, “But on the issue of finances, there’s something way more interesting. Sam’s lawyer, Neal Hersh, is making rumblings that Sam will contest the prenup.”
TMZ shared details on the court documents, and they say, “[Sam] has yet to determine the full nature and extent of the separate property assets and obligations of each party. There are various items of community and quasi-community assets and debts, the full nature and extent of which are unknown to [Sam] at this time.”
I think those of us who are Britney fans are correct in our worries about them both. He may have been (allegedly) become a cheated on spouse after years of being the one true person in her corner. And Britney, with her many almost naked social media posts, is now without a support system when she may again be mentally spiraling.
This news also drops just two months before Britney’s autobiography drops, with a possible Oprah tell all interview coming out too. Best wishes to them both that they separate peacefully and succeed in their own ways.
