Texas School Shooting Prompts CBS TO Pull ‘FBI’ Finale

CBS Pulls ‘FBI’ Season Finale

The tragic school shooting in Texas has prompted CBS to pull the season finale of the series FBI.

Executives decided to pull the episode after it was revealed that the season finale titled, “Prodigal Son” involved the team of agents preventing a school shooting.

The preview reads, “As the team investigates a deadly robbery that garnered a cache of automatic weapons for the killers, they discover one of the perps is a classmate of Jubal’s (Jeremy Sisto) son, who is reluctant to cooperate with the case.”

The decision follows a tragic school shooting in Uvalde, Texas, where 19 children and 2 teachers were shot and killed by an 18-year-old gunman at an elementary school, according to Governor Greg Abbott.

Instead, CBS will air the 12th episode from this season, which originally aired in February. There’s no word on when or if they will air the finale episode.

Right now, the network is just pulling the finale of the FBI and has plans to move forward and air the finale episodes of FBI: Most Wanted and FBI: International.
