Watch The New Trailer For “Thor: Love and Thunder”

Thor: Love and Thunder has been kept under wraps for a very long time, but the loooooooooooooong wait ended Monday with a fantastic teaser trailer. Chris Hemsworth is back as the titular god, Chris Pratt appears as Peter Quill of “Guardians of the Galaxy” and Tessa Thompson as the heroic Valkyrie. The specifics the film’s plot remain a mystery, which is how Marvel likes to do things. And even though we THINK we see the back of Christian Bale, nothing has been confirmed.

The trailer shows that fans of director Taika Waititi’s style in Thor: Ragnarok are in for a treat.

And one of the more special treats is Natalie Portman’s Jane Foster being seen for the very first time wielding Mjolnir and taking on the powers of Thor.

Thor: Love and Thunder will hit theaters on July 8.
