NBC Says Leslie Jones Can Post About Olympics

On Monday, SNL Alum Leslie Jones accused NBC on Twitter of “blocking” the videos she posts on social media on Olympics events. 

Leslie released a statement herself about the whole thing on both her TikTok and Twitter accounts saying that this Winter Olympics may be her last time posting. “They block my videos and get folks who they think can do it like me. I’m tired of fighting.” 

NBC responded by saying that the issues she experienced were a “third party error and have since been resolved.”

So far, no response from Leslie Jones on if she will start tweeting again. Personally, her genuine enthusiasm and non sponsored (paid for) commentary made the Olympics feel fresh and fun again. It would be a shame if this was the end because of poor decisions based on broadcast rights and money.
