Janet Jackson Reveals First Documentary Teaser

Janet Jackson’s documentary is set to premiere in January 2022 and will give fans an inside look at the real Janet Jackson.

Jackson has released the first teaser for the documentary which show fellow artists Paula Abdul and Mariah Carey as well as several of Jackson’s family members.

The two night program has been in the making for over five years and will celebrate the 40th anniversary of Jackson’s first album.

The four-hour documentary, which has been in the works for five years, follows the singer’s career and legacy, following the death of her father, her rise to fame, and more.

The two-part documentary, Janet, produced by Lifetime and A&E, is set to premiere in January 2022 — commemorating the 40th anniversary of her first album.
