Mail Delivery Will Get Slower On Oct. 1st

Think the Post Office is too slow?  Well, it’s about to get even slower.

Starting Oct. 1st, the USPS will slow down delivery of first-class mail, expanding the timeframe from 1-3 days to 1-5 days.

The reason for the delay?  A shift from air delivery to ground delivery, which is slower but more reliable.

While the majority of first-class mail will still be delivered within 3 days, some states will see longer delays – including most western states, along with Florida and Southern Texas.
