Apple has issued a warning to iPhone 12 users that have defibrillators and pacemakers

The iPhone 12 comes with a new warning…….

As you may or may not know, the iPhone 12 has a magnetic ring that allows you to charge your phone on a charging base, but just know that the magnetic field is so strong that those with a defibrillator or pacemaker should be on their toes.

According to Apple, the magnetic field will cause the pacemaker to stop detecting heart issues. In the defibrillator, the magnetic field could cause the shock therapy to not work in a situation where it’s needed. Doctors say If pacemakers or defibrillators come into contact with the iPhone 12, the patient will be OK as soon as they create that distance once again

Doctors and experts want consumers to be mindful of how close the devices are to each other. Apple suggests people keep at least a six-inch distance between the two devices, but recommends even farther if the device is on a charger.
