Would You Use “Drive-Thru” Voting?

First, there was drive-thru coronavirus testing. Now, there’s drive-thru voting.

Milwaukee leaders announced Monday that Fiserv Forum and Miller Park have been added to the list of in-person and drive-thru early voting sites for the 2020 election.Fox 6 Now reports Mayor Tom Barrett acknowledged the difficulties created by the current pandemic saying, “We were trying to find a way to allow people to come to a facility where there would be easy access, where it would be very, very important to provide the social distancing, and that was centrally located in the city of Milwaukee.”Fiserv Forum will welcome voters Oct. 20 through Nov. 1. Dates for Miller Park are pending.

Does drive-thru voting sound like something you’d like to see made permanent? What would make it even better – a Girl Scout Troop selling cookies at the end of the line? A complimentary, “I voted today!,” bumper sticker? Seriously though, how concerned are you about your safety while voting this year?
