Presently there are no R-rated films on the platform, but soon, there could be.
Many people love the Disney+ streaming service for its family entertainment, but soon there may be something for the adults to enjoy. There are many R-rated films under the Disney umbrella and there’s a rumor going around that the section may soon be added to the platform.
The section would be accessed by a pin code, and that’s where adults will be able to watch films from Fox and Touchstone.
“It makes sense for some of these Fox and [Touchstone] titles to go on Disney+ because it already has a far larger international reach than Hulu (which is only available in the US and Japan at the moment).”
Hearing interesting reports from sources in the last couple days that Disney is creating essentially a more adult section of Disney+ that will require pin code access. And that’s where all of the Fox and MGM content will go moving forward. Including lots of #4K. @thedigitalbits pic.twitter.com/xoDsPn0rUy

I
In our house, we just finished watching the Marvel Avengers movies in their real timeline, and the last two movies had a little bit of PG-13 language that did not get edited or removed. The violence and death scenes could be too much for young viewers , so putting in a pin code for this subscriber seems like a no brainer.
