Netflix has revealed the premiere date for the fourth season of “The Crown.” 

Season 4 will tell the tale of the monarchy from 1979-1990 and will premiere November 15 on Netflix.

The streaming platform released a trailer that introduced Emma Corin’s Princess Diana and Gillian Anderson’s Margaret Thatcher.

Don’t rush your enjoyment of season 4, as it will be the final run of new episodes for two years. The show is taking a break and  Season 5 will not premiere until 2022. Imelda Staunton will succeed Colman on the throne with Jonathan Pryce be her side as Prince Philip. Elizabeth Debicki will take over the role of Princess Diana for seasons 5 and 6.
