CDC Director: Follow The Guidelines Or Fall Will Be The ‘Worst’

The director of the CDC says America could be in for the “worst fall, from a public health perspective, that we’ve ever had” – if people don’t follow proper safety guidelines..

In an interview with WebMD, Redfield said “I’m asking you to do four simple things: wear a mask, social distance, wash your hands and be smart about crowds”.  He said “I’m not asking some of America to do it… we all gotta do it.”

Redfield fears the virus could surge in the fall when colder weather moves people indoors.  He also recommended getting a flu shot, and said the CDC had acquired an extra 10 million doses of flu vaccine for this year.
