Watch A Bloomington Water Tower Get Repainted In Just 32 Seconds!

Time lapse photography is fun!

 From YouTube/City of Bloomington, Illinois

The City constructed the Hamilton Elevated Tank, located at 1909 East Hamilton Road,

in 1996. The elevated tank holds up to two million gallons of water, which is used for potable water, fire protection, irrigation systems, and other uses. The tank also provides stable pressure for the distribution system.

On average, elevated tank coatings have a life expectancy 15 to 20 years. A City of Bloomington contractor painted updated logos on the tank as part of the Hamilton Elevated Tank Rehabilitation Project.

Ok, let’s watch the transformation!
