Amtrak is requiring all passengers inside its trains, buses, and stations to wear face masks.

The new rules go into effect next week, requiring a facial covering over the nose and mouth.  Small children and people sitting alone or with a travel companion are exempt.

Amtrak has cut train service by more than 50 percent during the pandemic and has seen its business drop by 90 percent.
