More channels are heading to YouTubeTV making the platform even more attractive for current and new subscribers
- Comedy Central, MTV, Nickelodeon, BET, and more from Viacom will be making their way to YouTube TV, which already carries CBS Sports Network, Pop TV, Smithsonian Channel, and The CW.
- The new channels are being added in hopes that those who exclusively watch YouTube instead of cable or terrestrial television will make the platform their first choice for entertainment.
- The new addition will come at a price, however, the new additions from Viacom will likely hike the price for subscribers. When the platform was created in 2018 the price was $35 for subscribers and with the addition of Turner Networks, the price jumped to $50.
