‘Avengers Campus’ Coming To DISNEY

Disneyland Resort

‘Avengers Campus’ Coming  to Disney California Adventures in July

Shortly after the announcement the full details were also revealed about what to expect from the area of the park. Good Morning America unveiled the three attractions in Disneyland’s Avengers Campus. The first is called Web Slingers: A Spider-Man Adventure and Tom Holland reprising his role as Peter Parker on the ride. Guests visit the World Wide Web Brigade to help stop a wave of Spider-Bots causing havok in Peter’s lab. The four and a half minute ride hurtles through the factory and lets you sling virtual webs to stop the robots.

Avengers Campus will also use the converted Tower of Terror ride, Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission Breakout. It sees guests help Rocket free the rest of the team by being repeatedly shot up and down. Finally the third planned ride will let visitors fly their own Quinjet to go on adventures with Black Panther in Wakanda – but it isn’t finished just yet. There’ll be plenty of actors playing the heroes and villains of the Marvel Cinematic Universe wandering through Avengers Campus, with Black Widow‘s Taskmaster also confirmed to appear. Much like Galaxy’s Edge, it seems that guests can follow an overall story that’s weaved through the park in the different areas.

Gizmodo.com:

It will feature a restaurant housing weirdly sized foods inspired by Ant-Man and the Wasp, as well as an outdoor Doctor Strange photo area inspired by the Sanctum. But the coolest part is the Worldwide Engineering Brigade, or WEB, which features a Spider-Man ride where visitors can sling their own webs at Spidey’s rebelling spider-bots (thwip). The area is starting off pretty small, but there are plans to grow the Avengers Campus even further in the future, including a possible Black Panther ride.
