Ozzy Osbourne has made headlines for the last year that he is on his deathbed, but this morning the Prince of Darkness broke his silence and revealed he is not on his deathbed, but he is battling Parkinson’s disease, and has been for a year.

Ozzy’s family joined him on Good Morning America to break the news and revealed he has been battling Parkin 2, which is a form of Parkinson’s.

Last year Ozzy had a terrible fall which cause him to cancel his world tour. He had to have surgery on his neck which had caused major problems with his nerves. He said he has been battling terrible pain from the surgery, in addition to the constant pain of Parkinson’s, this has been the “most miserable” year of his life.

Ozzy and Sharon are headed to Switzerland in April to see a specialist to hopefully find better treatment plans.
