While watching Joey Chestnut consume a ridiculous number of hot dogs on July 4th (74 for the win), did you know Normal, Illinois had representation in the competition??? Matt Hazzard, describes himself as an athlete and “an up-and-coming Major League Eater.”

Did you watch the 4th of July competition? Matt made it on camera a few times, but most of the coverage was of 10 time champion Joey Chestnut.
(It’s a little hard to watch without gagging honestly)

Yet it was still an impressive result for our local man!
