The Kardashian-Jenner family are the number one celebrity crew who uses Snapchat, but things seem to be going left after their latest update.
An offhand tweet from Kylie Jenner managed to tank $1.3 billion+ worth of Snapchat’s market value. Jenner tweeted Wednesday afternoon: “sooo does anyone else not open Snapchat anymore? Or is it just me… ugh this is so sad.”

The tweet hit a nerve, garnering more than 265K likes and 47K retweets.
She later wrote: “still love you tho snap … my first love.”
Her observation comes as many young people express similar misgivings about Snapchat’s redesign. Snap Inc.’s stock was down 8% as of Thursday afternoon.
While many were quick to like and retweet Kylie’s observations, many other users were complaining about how “pathetic” it is that a “20-year-old airhead” has this much of an impact on the economy. Still others tweeted at Ky that she should start a “stock newsletter” or use her platform to tweet about the NRA.
