New Law Says Kids Over 16 Can’t Trick-Or-Treat

Halloween is the top two holidays that kids look forward to. Having the pleasure to go door to door receiving unlimited amounts of sweets, it’s a dream! But at what age does trick-or-treating stop?

In Bathurst, New Brunswick, which is in Canada, they’ve enforced a law that stops teens from trick-or-treating on October 31st. At 16-years-old, you can’t enjoy the pleasures of free candy in this town, and if caught, you will be fined $200.

Oddly enough, the mayor of the town is not onboard with the new law but was outvoted.
