We haven’t had any solo projects from Nicki Minaj in what feels like forever, but she’s finally shared an update on her next album, admitting that she’ll address the chaos surrounding America’s politics.

In her cover story for Dazed Digital, her next album, the follow-up to 2014’s The Pinkprint, will include talk of the current times.

She said, “Well… you know me, things have to be addressed, that’s all I’ll say. Things that have to be addressed have to be addressed, and I will figure out a way to address them…you know, without being disrespectful. I think there’s room to have a respectful conversation, politically. I do think so.”

Her last music triumph featured songs like ‘Anaconda’ and that make music history, which she will continue to do.
