So how much is NBC paying for his Olympic Participation? The rumors include some very high numbers..

Quick math says if If his 2024 Olympics deal spans the entire 17-day stretch between the Opening Ceremony to the Closing Ceremony, Snoop could be taking home more than $8.5 million.

If that’s true, that it was money well spent, as the games are way up in TV ratings since Tokyo. Viewership of the Paris Olympics is up 79% in the first five days of competition.

From AP NEWS:

“This opportunity was nothing but a chance for me to show the world what it’s supposed to look like when you put the right person in the right environment,” Snoop said.

He’s carried the Olympic torch, captivated audiences as NBC’s prime-time correspondent, swam with Michael Phelps, attended a U.S. women’s soccer game with Megan Rapinoe, danced with Simone Biles and Jordan Chiles, and cheered on Caeleb Dressel alongside the swimmer’s wife and son.

Martha Stewart said she’s extremely proud of how Snoop is successfully taking on the challenge. She was impressed by his ability to genuinely connect with Olympians and their family members.
