Simone Biles will be showing us something new in Paris, submitting an original skill for the uneven bars.
The new skill is a clear hip circle forward with 1.5 turns to handstand, a variation of an element named for Canadian Wilhelm Weiler that Biles has performed for much of her career, according to the International Gymnastics Federation.
If she successfully completes the move in Paris, it will become the sixth gymnastics skill named after Biles.
Biles will enter the Olympics as a 37-time Olympic and world championship medalist.
NBC caught up with the U.S. women’s team as they showed up for podium practice and provided glimpses of what’s to come at the Paris Olympics
