You are invited to attend the O’Neil Aquatics Center official ribbon cutting ceremony and the reception celebrating the opening of the new O’Neil Aquatics Center on May 24th, 2024

1:00 PM – 2:15 PM – Open House – Tours for residents, staff, media (no swimming)
2:15 PM – Ribbon Cutting – Mayor Mboka Mwilambwe remarks and Thank You’s
3:00 PM – 7:00 PM – Soft Opening – Aquatics Season Pass holders, City Staff and families
2:00 PM – 5:00 PM – WBNQ’s Susan Saunders live remote with games and fun prizes

There will be two winners of a 5 visit punch pass each morning. Winners will be contacted by Bloomington Parks n Rec staff to create an online account to receive their prize which will not be available for the opening weekend of the aquatics center.
