Someone in the New Jersey area became a billionaire last night.

A single winning ticket for Tuesday’s $1.13 billion Mega Millions jackpot was sold in Monmouth County, New Jersey.

It’s the largest lottery prize in state history and the 5th-largest Mega Millions jackpot of all time.

We may never know who the winner is – New Jersey is one of 18 states that allows lottery winners to remain anonymous.
