There were a number of incredible nominations for best original song. Congrats to WINNER: “Naatu Naatu,” RRR. Take a listen!

The other nominees,: “Applause,” Tell It Like a Woman, “Lift Me Up,” Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, “This Is a Life,” Everything Everywhere All at Once.

But the OSCAR’s performance that most people are chatting about that day after is from Lady Gaga, who showed up last minute in an off the rack Versace dress, then stripped it off (along with her make up) to show us a very personal interpretations of “Hold My Hand” from Top Gun: Maverick.

Despite the performance being reported as not being planned in advance, Gaga delivered a powerful, emotional performance.
