HBO Max is going to absorb many Warner Bros Channels
Prepare to say goodbye to HBO Max and Discovery+.
Discovery announced Thursday that it will combine HBO Max and Discovery+ into a single, unified streaming service, which will launch in Summer 2023. A name for the combined service, along with pricing, will be announced at a later date.
The combined streamer will be a one-stop destination for titles from Warner’s sizable library — which includes HBO, CNN, DC Comics, Discovery Channel, Food Network, HGTV, Magnolia Network, OWN, TBS and TNT. HBO Max just announced Discovery darlings Chip and Joanna Gaines would be bringing select content from their Magnolia Network to the streaming service — including Fixer Upper: The Castle.
Other titles from Magnolia Network coming to HBO Max in September will include Fixer Upper: Welcome Home, Magnolia Table with Joanna Gaines, and The Lost Kitchen.
