Reward Offered For Lady Gaga Dog Walker Shooting Suspect Accidentally Released from Jail

The US Marshals Service is looking for the man charged with shooting Lady Gaga’s dog walker

James Howard Jackson was accidentally released from jail in April due to a “clerical error” authorities said. The man should be considered “armed and dangerous,” a statement released Monday read.

The man, James Howard Jackson, 19, who faces charges including attempted murder and second-degree robbery, was “erroneously released from custody” because of a “clerical error” after he was indicted, the agency said in a news release. He’s around 5 feet, 6 inches tall and weighs about 120 pounds, the agency said. Tips may be submitted via the USMS Tips app.

Jackson was one of three people arrested in the kidnapping of Lady Gaga’s French Bulldogs. He was held in jail on an attempted murder charge after shooting Gaga’s dog walker, Ryan Fischer.

Fischer took to Instagram, writing he was “deeply concerned” but “confident law enforcement will rectify the error.” Police are offering $5,000 for information leading to Jackson’s arrest.

Four other people were also charged in connection with the attack. Jaylin White, 20, and Lafayette Whaley, 28, were involved in the robbery and shooting, the authorities said, and Harold White, 42, and Jennifer McBride, 51, were accused of being accessories after the shooting.
