Jury Finds Amber Heard Defamed Johnny Depp With Op-Ed

The jury reached a verdict in the defamation trial between ex-spouses Johnny Depp and Amber Heard.

After spending aproximately six weeks in a Virginia courtroom, the jury found Amber Heard guilty, on all counts, of defaming her former spouse in a 2018 op-ed she wrote for the Washington Post.

Depp was awarded $10 million in compensatory damages and $5 million in punitive damages, totalling $15 million.
