America Is Finally Getting Their Own Version Of The Eurovision Song Contest

American Song Contest will premiere on March 21st on NBC-TV

Snoop Dogg is on a mission to find the best song in the United States and he needs your help. The Death Row CEO has signed on to host, the American Song Contest.

In this new competition series, based on the Eurovision Song Contest competition, artists from all 50 states and five U.S. territories battle it out to win your vote for their song. 

The competition was first announced in 2020, and with an advertisement that ran during the Super Bowl.

Each solo artist, duo or band will represent each location and perform a new original song, celebrating the depth and variety of different styles and genres across America. The competition is based on the Eurovision Song Contest, which has been a big TV hit since it began in 1956 and attracts some 200 million viewers each year

Kelly Clarkson will cohost with Snoop Dogg.

American Song Contest will premiere on March 21st on NBC, and it is produced by the same people who also bring us THE VOICE.
