“West Side Story” star Rachel Zegler was blasted on social media after posting a video of her doing dramatic reading of Britney Spears’ latest Instagram post to her sister Jamie Lynn.

Britney fans are criticizing Rachel for being disrespectful and feel that she shouldn’t be “making light of the situation.” 

Rachel has since deleted her video and issued an apology on Twitter. She said, “While I meant no disrespect whatsoever, I should have thought about how this could be perceived, and I’m so sorry for upsetting or disappointing anyone.”

No word from Britney Spears on the video.
