What were people into in 2021?  Watching videos and hooking up – at least according to the top-grossing apps of the last year.

According to Sensor Tower, TikTok was the top-grossing app of 2021.  Other video-streaming apps like YouTube, Disney+, and HBO Max also cracked the Top 10.

But that’s not all we were doing online – the hookup app Tinder came in at No. 4 on the list – and No. 3 among iPhone users.
