It’s no secret that prices have been going up lately – but you might not realize just how much it’s costing you.

According to economist Mark Zandi of Moody’s Analytics, inflation is costing the average U.S. family an extra $175 a month – between rising costs of food, fuel, and housing.

Supply shortages, supply chain issues, a lack of truck drivers, and the COVID-19 pandemic have all been cited among reasons for inflation, which is currently at a 30-year high.
