Yes, the fake ID-sporting teen played by Christopher Mintz-Plasse in the 2007 comedy Superbad would be 40 years old today – according to the birthdate on his infamous Hawaii drivers license: June 3rd, 1981.

Superbad stars like Seth Rogen even gave McLovin a birthday shoutout on Twitter – while someone briefly added him to the list of celebrity birthdays on Wikipedia. As recently as 2019, an underage Iowa man was busted for trying to use a McLovin ID to buy alcohol.
