Taylor Swift ‘Evermore’ Drops Deluxe Edition With Lyric Videos For Bonus Tracks

Deluxe edition of Taylor Swift’s Evermore album includes some lovely extras

Taylor Swift dropped the meditative lyric videos for “Right Where You Left Me” and “It’s Time to Go” on Wednesday.

From BILLBOARD.COM

The “Right” video consists of a static, shadowy image of a table surrounded by three chairs, enticing Swifties to focus on the song’s heart-breaking tale of a love frozen in time. “Right where you left me/ You left me no, you left me no/ You left me no choice but to stay here forever/ You left me, you left me no, left me no/ You left me no choice but to stay here forever,” she sings on the acoustic reverie.

Before their streaming debut at midnight on Thursday (Jan. 7), both songs were previously only available on the CD and vinyl versions of the singer’s second 2020 surprise album.

On “It’s Time To Go,” there are also some thinly veiled lyrics that are more than likely about Swift’s feud with Scooter Braun and Big Machine. “Fifteen years, fifteen million tears / Begging ’til my knees bled / I gave it my all, he gave me nothing at all / Then wondered why I left / Now he sits on his throne in his palace of bones / Praying to his greed / He’s got my past frozen behind glass / But I’ve got me.” What do you think?

“Help, I’m still at the restaurant / Still sitting in a corner I haunt / Cross-legged in the dim light / They say, ‘What a sad sight’ / I, I stayed there / Dust collected on my pinned-up hair.”

Who stood up TAYLOR SWIFT on a date??????? Who does that? Hmmmmm. Somebody who wants to be the center of song?
