Taylor Swift Cancels All Performances in 2020 to ‘Commit to Coronavirus Quarantine’

Taylor Swift made the official announcement that she’s canceling her concert tour for 2020. Swift was going out this Summer in support of her recent album, Lover, but she now says it’s more important to commit to quarantine.

“I’m so sad I won’t be able to see you guys in concert this year, but I know this is the right decision,” Taylor said on Instagram Stories. “Please, please stay healthy and safe. I’ll see you on stage as soon as I can but right now, what’s important is committing to this quarantine, for the sake of all of us.”

Fans that purchased tickets for Taylor’s “Lover Tour” will be able to get a refund starting May 1st. Taylor encouraged fans to stay connected with friends and family during quarantine through the wonders of modern technology.
