Good news from the IRS, those stimulus checks are coming much sooner than expected, in fact possibly as early as next week.

For most taxpayers, the payments are automatic and no further action is needed. The first wave of payouts will start next week, as early as Monday or Tuesday for direct deposit, while paper checks are going to start being mailed out on April 20th.

The first group will cover 50 to 60 million Americans who have already given their bank account information to the IRS. It will also include Social Security beneficiaries who filed federal tax returns that included direct deposit information.

If you need to adjust your direct deposit information, the IRS has reported it will that option by the end of the week.
