WALMART Needs More Employees And They Are Paying A Big Bonus To Current Employees

Walmart is set to pay cash bonuses to its employees who have been with the company prior or as of March 1st.

The bonuses will pay full-time employees $300 and part-time employees $150 on April 2nd. The grocery chain will spend $180 million to insure that all associates get their bonuses a month early.

With the boost in sales due to people stocking up for self isolation, Walmart has committed to hiring over 150,000 new employees through May for its stores, clubs, distribution, and fulfillment centers to help with the demand.  The jobs will be temporary, however, some will become permanent.

Amazon is also also looking to hire over 100,000 employees to meet the demand for online shopping and they have raised their pay rates by $2 per hour. Dominoes Pizza is also looking to hire an additional 10,000 delivery drivers.
