Major League Baseball is the latest sports league to shut down operations due to the coronavirus outbreak.

According to ESPN, MLB will shut down spring training and is expected to delay the start of the regular season, which is scheduled to begin March 26th.

An official announcement is expected after league owners hold a conference call Thursday to make an official decision.

The Mariners have already announced plans to move its regular-season games to another city after Seattle banned all large public gatherings.
